Hi Guys,
Can anyone suggest to me any good Hockey Player Biographies?
Living in the UK means I can't physically look for myself and I want my Parents to pick me up a couple when they visit the US in a couple of weeks.
Thanks

I'm not sure if it's a biography, as I've never read it, but I've heard "the game" by Ken Dryden is one of the best hockey books out there.

"11 Seconds: The Travis Roy Story" Is a very good read as well.

The Theo Fleury book is pretty good as will.

I have this book, its kind of a cross between a dryden biography & a look behind the scenes at hockey in the 70's.

Its a good book though, pretty fun to read :)

*edit*

the book on Brian 'spinner' Spencer was a pretty good one too. I'm just on my way out the door or I'd google the title for you :)

I've read 2 Hockey Books

The Phil Esposito Book (Can't Remeber the title?)
And "Men Without Fear" Hockey's 50 Greatest Goaltenders By Kevin Allen and Bob Duff

You should be able to find them on Amazon.com

I can't remember exactly what it is called, but it is a book writen by Don Cheery. I think it might be called "Grapes." It is an interesting book.
