Went to the weekly market in Truro today, where Series 1 was the big thing. Since my boxes are on their way, I tried to stay away from pack breaking. At the end of the market though, four of us ended up breaking packs. Among two Doughty's and a Stamkos, many great things came out of the box and a half. My five packs were not included in the "great things"... but here are the two notable pulls...

At the end of the market as well I ended up making a trade. I rarely trade locally but this is an exception. Mark probably has one of the biggest high end collection in Nova Scotia and probably some of the nicest pieces in the local area. Crosby Cup Patches, a Malkin Gold Cup RC and many other shiny pieces!
He made me an offer I couldn't refuse. We'll start off with the lower end piece in the deal:

That was nice, but I set a goal two weeks ago when I planned on trading a few pieces: to pick up a nice HOF or current Superstar auto. I've had a couple Malkin autos before, a Jordan Staal, Marcel Dionne, Robitaille and Henri Richard among others but I was looking to add another player to the list of autos that have passed through my hands?
