Hey folks. Let me start for apologizing for any spelling errors, my right hand is in a splint.

One card mailday, buta story first....

I saw this card pulled either here or on Beckett when the product was released, and I contacted the puller, Logopatch cards, and asked if we could make a deal. He said he was going to hang onto it, as it was the first kind of this card he'd ever pulled, but if he ever got rid of it he'd contact me first.

Fast forward a month and I see this card in the completed sales sectionof ebay.

I was worried that I'd lost it forever, but luckily another member here, x26stastny26x picked it, as part of his collection. And it seemed like everytime he was able to move it I was out of cash.

But the planets finally lined up right, and now I bring you my first ever NHL Shield Card;

I love it. Not the best player, but my favorite. So glad to be able to hold this in my hands. I also like how the background jersey is burgendy and blue, neat detail.

Congrats man! Some people have so many of these that it's old hat for them. For folks like me a shield card remains the holy grail. Glad you got a shield of one of your favorite players! Way to go :beer:
