hey all, and happy holidays to everyone!.
I myself, have really enjoyed these holidays, watching both my kids, my boys first Christmas, and watching my lil' princesses eyes light up as she had a very FROZEN Christmas if you know what I mean.
my big gift from my better half (although she did consult me), was a FULL case of UD series 2. I told her a while back that when this dropped in price and the unexpected rookie class that is in there, this is a great valued product, on top of that a lot of fun opening it as well.
As usual, I got the full set of Young Guns plus more, lots of OPC Rookies, and canvas cards, so if anyone is finishing theirs sets or want any in particular PM me.
I didn't scan any of the regular stuff, but like I said above I got everything expected.
here are the hits/highlights:
not scanned is a Damien Brunner rookie materials patch 1 colour(white)/25
only got one YG in the exclusives, no huge names and all are available
scored two pretty nice POEs in Gallagher and huberdeau, and a Lindros retired star, too bad he's not with the flyers. i'm also a huge fan of the canvas YGs.
the MacKinnon round-up, or so we think, there's also a Sekera HG, day with the cup Bollig, a Risto Red(sounds like a beer...LOL) and I believe that's the art card for the hockey heroes subset
now here's my top 5...

Boone Jenner Rookie Breakthroughs/100....nice card, nice player I think too

yeah I'm placing this acetate YG at number four just because of the player, he's pretty good but doesn't get the hobby love I guess...beauty card though

MacKinnon MVP/100...pulled this in box#2 and had a feeling this was going to be a GREAT case...

John Tavares Canvas Signatures/91 hard signed...pulled this a couple boxes after the Mac Daddy above, and said to myself well I usually pull bunk autos and this is probably up there in terms of cool autos in the set, I was happy... but the case wasn't finished...

don't worry im not going to make you scroll a thousand times to see my card, that drives me bananas....so without further ado, and I haven't pulled one of his cards since 2006....
yep...Wayne Gretzky Auto, rarely do I open a pack and say "oh SH..", but I did when I saw this.
