......sitting on my skinny white butt in front of my TV for the next week or so....just got Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube........I've been playing it for the last couple of hours, and, quite simply put, it's the greatest game........EVER

The definitive reason to buy a Gamecube, even if you are not a big fan of the series, since it is quite a departure from what the series has been so far....

So if anybody is looking for me, and I know a bunch of you are interested in the Langway auto, that is where I will be. Once I figure out if I can get the Langway in my possession, I'll PM anyone who was looking for it. Quincy, I'll keep an eye out for a response on those Tanguay's we talked about...

Now if you'll excuse me, time to go turn out the lights, turn on the 'Cube, crank up the surround sound, and wet my pants.......

Hehehe, when I saw the commercial for it Rob, I figured you would be posting something like this lol. I'm sure it's good, but Halo 2 it is not

Actually Rodney, even if I weren't a fan of the series, I would still rate it ahead of Halo 2.....and from the reviews I've read, so would most magazines.....one guy went as far as to say that if it had been released in 2004 it would have gotten his vote for game of the year, ahead of Halo 2 and everything else that was released.He actually went to far as to state it may very be one of the greatest looking games of all time, for any system...ign.com gave it a 9.8, same as Halo 2, and gamespot.com gave it a 9.6, compared to 9.4 for Halo 2. The advantage Halo 2 has, is the online capability and replay value, but in terms of sheer presentation, RE4 wins, hands down....

I just got the game yesterday and WOW It ROCKS! That 2nd level in the village what a frantic start! I had to play 3 times before I could get by it, now I will have nightmares whenever a Chainsaw goes off

I'm going to be picking up that game in a couple days, maybe a week or so. I'm still trying to get through that stupid Reident Evil : zero that I bought a few monthes ago, but this one seems so much better than zero.

I heard the reviews for that game were simply phenominal. It makes only the third game on that system that I'd ever want to own, along with Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 2

That being said, the 'Cube is still just for pansies and little girls
It's Xbox or nothing for me

How far have you made it now? I had to put it down because it was giving my kid nightmares watching me play it....I've got 20+ hrs into it, and I'm still not on the second disk.....the action keeps getting more frantic every second...LOL

I am the same I play in snippets (30mintues to 1hour increments)..I've got about 19 hours or so in it.. I am still on the 1st disk, I just saw Luis get killed, rescued Ashley and now I am just finished getting the Kings and Queens Bust to open the door. Man this game does rock! Where are you at?

I'm just past where you are by about an hours gameplay or so....I'm at the spot where you are riding the minecart down the tracks and you keep getting attacked.......VERY tough spot...LOL....very frantic...
