I remember I have read that he would sign for Mario for minimum wage, but I dont think that will happen. But I hope he will sign for Pittsburgh, imagine a PP with Jagr, Crosby and Malkin. That could be high productive PP line. But as I said earlier, I doubt that he will sign for any NHL team, unfortunately.

Jagr's "minimum" is $0.01 more than the highest paid player on your team. it really is him being nice but eh......

Not sure a lot of Pens fans would agree with you. For as much good as he did for the Pens early on in his career, the bad blood from his departure may still overrule.

Sad but true. Gotta hope that he sign new contract to the NHL.
Jagr is very special and spectacular player.. still. Reminds me of Selanne.

That would be an odd sight to see. Then again so was seeing his name on the back of a Rangers jersey.

Pushing 40 I don't think he is up for the grind of an entire NHL season, pre-season, playoffs...a lot of hockey.

He will sign with Penguins if he comes back to NHL...and the maximum hit at $2.5 million is about it.. It might be less, with incentatives. But he will make more in Pittsburgh off the ice as he is still very popular.. That will be the difference.. The cost of living in other cities is much higher than Pittsburgh, and he still owns a house here about 3 miles from me...

Last year he said he would love to play for the Oilers, but not sure the team here has as much interest as they did back then.

There rumors that he would like to sign with the Oilers, Pens or Montreal. I hope that he'll sign with Montreal, that would be great ! With is very good friend Tomas Plekanec, that would be a very good line : Cammalleri - Plekanec - Jagr !!
