Well, I'm long overdue for a show I guess and with the mail I've had recently I thought it was time to come to the table and show & tell, so to speak :). First up is the last of my redemption's with Upper Deck. I'm not very enamored with the whole redemption process as a few of you know but I think this one was well worth the wait. I really detest having to wait for my cards which I spend good money for and end up having to wait a year and a half for. If the shoe was on the other foot I don't believe for a second that Upper Deck would wait a year and a half for me to pay them for a card while I hold onto said card during that same time span. Oh well, such is the nature of the beast I suppose.
Anyways, here for your viewing pleasure is my Tuukka Rask SPX Spectrum RC numbered 8 of 25. I saw one with a plain white swatch go for $150.00 on the 'Bay last week so I think I did all right with 4 bands of color and all Boston's colors well represented :). Can somebody tell me if the bottom swatch is part of a patch as well because it doesn't feel like a jersey nor look like one to me, but I've been wrong before. It is available for the right trade offer but money rules with this one, lol. PM only please.

Next up are a few recent trades and purchases. First up from our very own Tony (Slappy69) is a card I just had to have once I saw it. Absolutely a PC piece. Thanks Tony!

This next one comes from another great H.I member Sabres11 with my thanks! Just love the auto version of the set :). Billy Smith BTP Stick Jersey AU 10

Goes very well with this Hall from the same set that I acquired last year :).

Up next is a hard signed Salming piece that caught my eye as a Leaf fansom much so that I pulled the trigger in a split second over on the 'Bay. U.D. Salming Ultimate Autographed Jerseys /50.

Next up is a sweet Tretiak Superlative Auto Jersey out of 10 for my Superlative collection :). This one comes from another of our very own, Kevin (Inferno). Thanks Kevin for a flawless transaction and top notch communication! Appreciate it amigo!

For your viewing pleasure are a sampling of my ITG Superlative pieces that I have put together from breaks, trades, and purchases in the last few months. Enjoy the eye candy! :D

These first four are all gold out of 10. Tony Esposito, Stan Makita, and two Lindsay's. All golds out of 10.

These next four, although not golds, are never the less still sweet pieces that I was happy to obtain for the collection :D. Love the Roy and Lemieux 3 colors!

Next up are cards from one of my major focuses in the hobby. Jean Beliveau. These are a few of my Superlative offerings :). I know, I have OCD with a few of these, but not as bad as my buddy Curt, lol...Yet!

A couple 2 colors with the one on the left being a gold out of 10 (Blue & White)

An Autothread Beliveau with nice numbering.

A couple Habs and Leaf PC pieces from my Expo breaks along with a couple Redemption cards I also kept. I may move the Ranger six for a similar card from the same set.

Love the Mahovlich Emblem!

I'm a big Bower fan and collector so I was pleased to have this one pop out of my box :D. And Sittler ain't no slouch either, lol.

Nothing better than a hard signed of three Leaf legends.

And this was my best pull at the show being that I collect Barilko. Love the history on this card. This one is deep in the PC vault :).

And to finish up a couple ITG redemptions. The Canada 6 is a favorite coming off a Jr's win earlier this year with Tavares on it. Like i said above, the Rangers card is tradeable so if you have something similar PM me :)

Well there it is guys and gals. My long overdue posting of recent acquisitions . Hope you enjoyed because I'm exhausted from scanning and posting, lol. If anyone has any other Superlative Auto Jerseys out of 10 of vintage players feel free to PM what you have and we can go from there. Thanks for coming in and comments are always welcome. Cheers! -Mike

It was worth it for the Rask but yet I still am not a fan of the whole redemption process. If ITG can do a great job of putting out product without redemptions then why can't Upper Deck? It doesn't make sense to me . Thanks for the post! -Mike

Sweet swatches all around.

A superlative mail post and some great vintage pieces in there

Congrats and thanks for the show

Wow, some really great cards shown!

The Smith and Hall looks nice together...I think you might have gotten the Hall from me as well, no? Back on the old B.....t boards?

I have been waiting on that same Rask as well - mine should be arriving today and hopefully will have swatches similar to yours - beautiful!

Some great ITG cards there as well - great show!

Thank you one and all for your comments! I knew you would appreciate the 50-51 Playoff Contenders piece Curt ;). Of all the cards I pulled during the Spring Expo that was my ultimate H.I., lol. I was grinning from ear to ear on the way home that day. Thanks again Kevin for the Tretiak and as you can see it fits in perfectly with my Superlative collection thus far :). I am chasing some other cards from the Superlative Franchise set Dan. More than likely some auto jersey/emblem/whatever cards. No one does them better than ITG in my book. I lean more towards the vintage end of the spectrum rather than the newer players of course :D. Thanks again all for your great comments guys. Hope to have the chance to post more cards soon! For those who PMed me I will try to get to those today. Cheers! -Mike
