Hey Everyone,
Made a few nice purchases this past month via eBay and the Northgate Mall Show. Anyway, on to the show!
The year on this one was listed wrong on and I didn't know that before purchasing as I checked on Trading Card Database once it was in hand. The year listed was 1933-34 and I thought it was a rookie card since that's the same year as his V252 Canadian Gum rookie card. Nonetheless, I am very happy with the card as I didn't pay too much for it and will pick up the rookie card soon enough. I think it's very cool considering it's 80+ years old!!
1934-35 Diamond Matchbooks Silver Clarence "Taffy" Abel (Anishnaabe/Ojibway)
I picked this one up off of eBay too. Joe Benoit cards are hard to come by and, although I already have his rookie card, I didn't want to let this cool card pass me by.
1934-44 Beehive Joe Benoit (Metis)
I recently picked up a few George Armstrong cards and really liked the condition and price of this one.
1958-59 Parkhurst George Armstrong (Anishnaabe/mixed)
I recently stumbled upon this card when I was looking at the set of cards and seen his nickname was "Chief." Well, after that I happened to Google this player and found out he was of mixed Indigenous heritage (although apparently not very much).
1973-74 OPC Bobby Taylor RC (Mixed Heritage)
Now onto the Northgate Mall Show pick ups.
I picked up my 6th copy of a Reg Leach rookie card and a 2nd copy of a Ron Delorme rookie card.
1971-72 OPC Reg Leach RC & 1978-79 OPC Ron Delorme RC
Also, made my first Facebook deal (I've since deactivated my Facebook account) and picked it up at the Northgate Mall Show. I have found myself to have a small player collection of Brandon Montour.
2016-17 The Cup Brandon Montour ARP /249 (Six Nations)
Thanks everyone for looking. Comments are always appreciated.
