Sad day when you see him call it a career. 52 points in his last season at age 40...that puts him above 60% of the active players at age 40.... incredible.

I absolutely hated him during the 2003-2004 season when they ousted the Flyers out of the finals. But you can't hate him forever, dude played with his heart and soul every shift. Cheers to a fantastic career :beer::beer:
 
He was a beast !!! Loved him in Tampa was a little disappointing in how he left Tampa. But he had an amazing career .
 
You're too small for the NHL, you'll never make it in the NHL, this is a big mans game so we're sending you to Saint John's in the AHL.....

Way to prove them all wrong Marty and pave the way for the "little guys" to showcase their talents.
 
had a great career, almost got another cup last year, all that emotion from him really carried the Rangers to the Finals, couple bounces here and there and ending would have been different. First Ballot HOFer all the way
