Remind me again....were the auto versions the first 100 serial numbered ones? I know not all 1500 were autographed.

Great question!

Only the first 100 were signed. Now, whether all 100 were signed is a mystery, as they are so difficult to find. I saw one that was only signed by one player on one side, I think Thibault.

And a 2014 Fall Expo Archives redemption card of the UM12 "Game-Used Patch Gold" Gordie Howe. The original card was a Gold 1/1 version.

The only Howe card I've seen that includes a tie down strap piece.

The next 03-04 Premier Subset I will do is the Matchup which has Jersey's /25 and patch versions /3. Only 12 total cards in the set. I have 9 of them and am missing 3 of the patch cards. I know where 1 of them is and have never seen the 2 others. To get the first one out of the way the jersey version of Gaborik and Bertuzzi.

Next Matchup Jersey card is of a couple goalies with Belfour and Theodore. As well I don't have the /3 version of this card.

Hey Paul,

Being the Gaborik guy for many many years, of course, I had one of the #ed/3 cards. I sold it a few years ago for good $$$$$. It was this 1/3 one:



And I knew of the 2/3 card, I kept a scan of it, but it is not mine:



I have never seen the 3/3.

My next Leaf Ultimate Gordie Howe card is a nice triple patch card that includes two of his Detroit teammates, although the patch for Gordie is obviously from his Whalers jersey. Still very nice!

Lemieux Superlative Patch /30 from Volume 2. I can’t say with 100% certainty but I’m confident this is the exact one I pulled from my book of Superlative at the 2010 Spring Expo fifteen years ago. I remember the corner patch looking exactly like this. My really old scans are long gone (screw you Photobucket) but I have a pretty good memory for cards. If this is the same one, or not, I’m pumped to have one again!
