Never Ending Random Card Of The Day Thread

My next Mario card is from the first (and only) stab by Leaf at the Ultimate "FantaStick" subset from 2014-15. It was a 15-card gold set and all but two cards were serial numbered to /10. Only two cards were lower...Bobby Hull #/6 and Mario only #/2. So, only two complete sets could be made, and I have one of those sets. Here is my Mario 2/2. I have never seen the 1/2 Mario card.

In The Numbers #/10

This doesn’t say Silver on the label, but there is a Gold version, so I’ll show both on successive days.

Al,

Yes, that was weird for UM4 (great product, by the way  )...the Silver ones had silver labels, but didn't say Silver...yet the Gold version had gold labels and DID say Gold.

See my Gaborik as an example.

Thanks for sharing yours Curt! Such a sharp design imo. Here comes my Gold version.

These were cool cards created by In The Game when Brian Price was at the helm.
I have a few of those. You had to submit box tops to redeem these. And they were given out randomly. Cool idea by ITG. (y)

Two under my name:

And one under my son's name (he got an Eberle as well):

And two I picked up for my Gaborik collection:

Here’s my Lidstrom VIP:

I’ll never move it as it has my name on it and will always be sort of my own personal 1/1. Always found it odd seeing copies of other VIP cards on eBay with some random dudes name on the back lol. But I can see how player collectors would want to have one regardless of the name on the back because of how unique and limited they were.

They also served as a membership card of sorts where you could use the code to get discounts on certain things.
