Back when the ITG UM9-12 series were being released I used to treat myself every year by building a set that appealed to me. There is a 6 card set from ITG UM10 called When There Were Six. It paid homage to the players/teams from the pre expansion era. Here is the Boston card.

You like to collect subsets in ITG Ultimate, like I do. This was one subset I didn't go after.

I checked and I only have one of the six cards in this subset...it is the Boston one because I collect Brimsek.

It was always a lot of fun building the sets. eBay was the main source back then. They changed the focus in ITG UM11 and did it by years instead of teams. There are 10 cards in the WTWS UM11 set, I completed that group and I'll show it next.

Ten years ago today, my then 13-year-old son Connor had brain surgery for a malignant brain tumor. He is now 23 and living the best that he can. For that, I am thankful.
