1994-95 Donruss Elite Series- I would say this set of 10 cards is in my top 5 favorite insert sets of all-time. I don't know what the others are but I know this set would be in it. I remember pulling some of these when the product was released and that tingly feeling of excitement. I still get it when I look at these cards. Not the best photo but these cards look great in person

“That tingly feeling of excitement” is something I can remember from opening boxes in the ‘90’s. No memorabilia or autos in sight with these, yet they could significantly impact our level of enjoyment.

Not a single card but the final card arrived today from HI's own DougLaurieSports (appreciate the easy deal) so figured I'd just show them all together. I absolutely love this set, however, I wish they had a Bruin in there so all Original 6 teams were represented. I can't remember why they went with two Hawks but I believe there was a story behind it, anyone recall that can shed some light?

Great card, Pete!

The three months he spent in prison in 1989 was in my town of Rochester, Minnesota...a federal medical prison.

Bob was one of the toughest players ever...and had skill as well. RIP
