Thank you! That piece of memorabilia was used in the NHL Premiere Challenge in Germany on October 4th, 2011 (pictured in my post above) during the friendly match between the Buffalo Sabres and Adler Mannheim (DEL) club.

The patch was also used (warm-ups/back-up) in the NHL Premiere game on October 7th, 2011 vs the Anaheim Ducks in Finland. That patch has travelled a fair bit!
