So here's the October mail. Some of it might actually be from September or November, nobody is really sure at this point. But it seemed to logically go together well this way, so here it is. I think there's one Holden card from an HI member, M35Richter to be specific, but that's about it. Everything else via eBay or other sites. But C.J. (capsfan30) sent me a bunch of stuff for sets gone past (03-04 Ice, Pristine) that I've been working on forever. Thanks guys!

Like I said, I'm a sucker for old MVP script parallels, and these two doubles will get tucked away for awhile. Still really need another Super of the Clark for the PC. And I'll pay $0.99 any day for a jersey numbered Deadmarsh.

Two more Deaders, both doubles as well, but I couldn't pass them up. The Limited triple jersey w/ Potvin from the same seller sold for $100+, so I'll take this one for less than $5 shipped.

2013-14 ITG Enforcers II Auto Ian Laperriere
My meager additions to the Lappy collection from Enforcers for this month. I actually got outbid on a Black Patch /10 and Red Patch /10, which surprised me. I've never run into much resistance on his stuff before, so I'm guessing it's an Enforcers collector. It's also interesting to me that they split Lappy's cards into three different teams as well. His Instigators cards are Avs, the auto is Kings, and the Combatants w/ Tkachuk is a Blues card. I don't think he got anything from the Flyers, or his stint with the Rags, but it's fun to see so many different colors.
And last but not least, the Avs RC collection.
2007-08 OPC Premier Silver Spectrum /35 Steve Downie
Just in time for him to be traded. Yay. Guess you can't pick fights with the captain of the team or something... The two patches are less than stellar, but that's a fight for another day. Just happy to have one now.

These are actually the last of what I needed for the Red and Green sets. My Blue set of 11 Avs RCs was already complete. I was a little torn on finding these all in one place since I had so much fun chasing the others, but if anybody needs colored RC parallels (not Parkhurst backs), Dave & Adams seems to have multiples of every single RC. Seems fishy, but whatever...

Desbiens was an offseason pickup that was always destined for AHL depth. But these two came in a trade on Beckett. It's an update Black, so not one of the tougher ones.

2010-11 Pinnacle Nick Holden - Base RC and Artist's Proof
Holden was supposed to be AHL depth as well, but he, along with Guenin, made the team from the start. He played a couple games at left wing, but is back to his natural defense after a couple injuries. These are just filling out what I didn't already have for him.

More Holdens, including another Victory update Black. All I still need for him is the Luxury Suite Gold /10 and UD HG YG /10.

On to 13-14 stuff, here's the trio of Prizm Refractors. The base RCs are still on the way from a group break on HI.

The Blue Pulsars, which seem to be the easiest to land of the retail parallels. People are definitely breaking more rack packs than blaster boxes.

The Purple Cracked Ice Redemptions are some beautiful cards. Happy to have all three already.

And a few Artifacts of him. Boring patch on the Emerald, but I'll worry about upgrading it later. I'm kinda sad that they added auto and jersey variations to all of the Artifacts RCs this year. I was always happy to chase 4-5 parallels, but Pickard has something stupid like 12 this year. Now I'm finally feeling the Artifacts pain that PCs have known for years.
Okay, only one star this month, but it's quickly vaulted to one of my favorite all-time cards.

2013-14 ITG Enforcers II Tough Patches 1/1 Ian Laperriere
Yep, a tough patch. This one hit the market pretty much immediately upon release. I got an offer in as soon as I saw it, but there were already like 14 others on it after another hour or so. Including a couple that looked suspiciously like a certain doctor. So I bit the bullet and hit the BIN. But I don't regret it for a second. I might never have another PC player in a set like this, so I'm happy to add my second 1/1 to the Lappy collection.
