Ongoing list of Upper Deck cards that will not be produced

I just got told by some guy who has an 06/07 Beehive PG (5x7 Auto) Redemption for Gretzky that he promised to sign them "The next time he comes in". Is this guy smoking rope or would UD actually do this? It would be nice if they had records and sent signed redemptions to the people who redeemed the cards, but I doubt they would do that since we already got crap from them instead. Could this be for real?

Back when I was waiting on a Rick Nash notable numbers, I had a guy from UD tell me the same thing about Nash, that he comes in and signs a few cards and leaves. Obviously it was BS as Rick Nash is not going to travel half way across the country to sign a couple of cards and leave. I did eventually get the card several months later when Nash finally sent the rest of his stickers in.

I don't know if that means it neccesarily isn't made, perhaps they issued all the copies as replacement for something else?
 
If that happened that's a replacement card that would really make someone's day! Looking through some old emails and found 2 more cards that were sent in damaged, and replaced with other cards. :|

I think this thread is more for listing cards that were never produced, not ones that UD screwed up on and ran out of giving out..

On the plus side whatever you end up receiving as a replacement should be an upgrade for that Barnaby =P
 
upper deck any auto cards by pat lafontaine will not be produced? parkhurst the cup etc?

Hey Cole, My brother is collecting that set, I think he needs like 2 more. Anyway he did alot of digging into some of these that are missing in action, and from what I got from him, Ciccarelli never signed those cards. I joked around that they are probably sitting in his office at home somewhere. I could just go over to his place (he lives in Sarnia) and knock at the door and ask him to sign them....haha But I;m sure he has some big dogs there...or a fence or something LMAO :)

But sorry to tell ya it won't be coming. Supposedly UD is going to remove Dino from the checklist, but that hasn't happened either yet.

recieved bobby clarke epic signatures as a replacement

big upgrade IMO

although I have seen ONE on eBay... my redemption was exchanged for a Roy/Brodeur/Giguere/Fleury from 08/09 SP Authentic XX/10
