Haven't been overly active in the way of cards lately. Doesn't help I haven't had much luck find old Turco's I need and his new BTP cards are next to impossible to locate due the low number of people busting BTP. I've also moved more into the game used jersey aspect of collecting and haven't looked back. This post is half game used jerseys and the other half is redemption replacements from Panini...
First up is a batch of cards I got from Panini as a replacement for a bunch of redemptions I had outstanding of Turco cards from the first Dominion series. I figured if the cards weren't out yet, they never will be. So, I contacted Chris and got the email of someone to talk to about swapping out my outstanding redemptions. Needless to say, it was an amazingly easy and fast process. I asked if it would be possible to swap out for any Pickard or any other Turco cards they may have. I got a list of 4 cards and was told to pick two as replacements. I was shocked when the package arrived and it was a rather large box. Though it was odd for two cards... Well they sent all 4 cards I was offered and than some. Enough yapping, here's some pics...
First up are these 8 cards, all of which I have but a great and unexpected bonus.
The two I had chosen as replacements, both of which I need for my collection. One is the Prime rookie jumbo patch /5 and the other the Prime Rookie Black /3. Couldn't be happier with that replacement. Thanks Panini.
Now for the my favorite part of the show and tell, the new gamers I got in.
As some of you know and most probably don't know, I am working on the long term goal of getting a game worn goalie jersey from all 30 NHL teams (plus Thrashers) as well as all WHL teams. I had a really successful last month and a half and am now down to needing jersey's from 11 teams.
Here are the most recent additions in order of how I like them

I had originally planned on holding out for either a Schneider or Luongo Canucks gamer, though I do plan on eventually getting both. It was too tough to pass this up for less than the cost of a replica Canucks jersey WITHOUT name and number. I'll chalk this one up as a huge steal, as I had wanted a Raycroft jersey anyways... Yes I am serious.

This is my second Brent Johnson gamer, goes good with my Penguins road jersey of his. I was about to pull the trigger on a white Blues Johnson gamer when this popped up on ebay for a great starting price. Saved me a couple hundred waiting it out

This is my second Montoya gamer, I also have a blue retro Islanders jersey of his as well. This one came with another one lower down the list. I am hoping to add a third Montoya jersey to the collection in the coming month, with the possibility of a fourth.

Once again, my second jersey of said player, I also have a Leafs Giggy jersey. I had been wanting a Ducks Giggy jersey for a while and this one came at a great price. I am still on the hunt for a Mighty Ducks jersey of his however.

My first Varlamov jersey. The price was right on this one and had been wanting one of his Caps jerseys for a while. Now to wait for Meigray to realize how overpriced their Holtby jerseys are :|

The top 3 jerseys in this post I would consider "grails." I picked up a Houston Aeros Harding gamer at the Fall Expo, but had been after a Wild one for a couple of years. Found this one on the same site as the Montoya Coyotes jersey and was able to work out a great package deal for the pair. This was listed as a John Harding game worn jersey :|... Anyways hoping to add more of his jerseys in the future, but Wild jersey's are not an easy find.

I was able to pickup both of Luongo's game worn jerseys from his return to the Panthers from this past season for what I consider great prices. I had been wanting a Luongo jersey for years and never got around to it. I am now on the hunt for a Canucks and Panthers version 1.0 gamer of his.

Of course a Turco gamer would be first... But anyone who collects gamers knows Hawks jerseys aren't an easy or cheap find. This one was among my most wanted Turco jerseys. I have another two game worn Turco jerseys on the way but for now, here's what 15 game worn Turco jerseys look like...
