Postal time to Sweden

Anyone able to help me out with a timeline, on how long a package would take to get to Sweden from Canada? I sent out on Jan 6th, and heard back from the fellow today, that he still hasn't received anything. It was sent by surface mail as a small packet if that helps at all. Figured it should have been there by now, but I've never sent anything there before, so not really sure. Just to clarify too, this isn't a deal gone bad, just some extra stuff I had I sent to him, no trade or sale involved. Still would like to know it did make it there though. Thanks for any help!

4-8 weeks is usually the delivery time I'm given for surface shipments from Canada to Europe. Usually closer to the 8 than the 4 though.

Surface mail to Europe means they stuffed it in a bottle, walked to the eastern seaboard and threw it as far as they could....two months would not be unheard of....

Since Canada is involved. 4 to 6 weeks is right. I can send a card from USA to Sweden and it would arrive quicker than I would send a card from USA to Canada.

I sent a card about a month ago from Ohio to Sweden. 4 days......and I'm dead serious. 4 whole days.

Takes 4 weeks to send a card to Ontario sometimes. I'd be better off to drive up to Lake Erie and throw it across.

It's funny. Anytime I've got something from either Finland or Sweden, I find the shipping time to be pretty quick (7-10 days). Most packages from the USA don't get to me (in Ontario) that fast.

Surface I'd say will take at least 4-6 weeks, possibly 8.

Airmail used to be 3-5 business days, but has lately been 5-10 business days.

Really?? Most of my European mail gets there faster (or just as fast as) mail within Ontario! I've sent out on Monday and had feedback from a few European countries by Friday!


So, the real answer is just like any other Canada Post delivery time post..."Nobody knows" LOL

SUFACE MAIL.....way cheaper but takes 4-8 weeks.

AIR MAIL.....$4.00 but gets there in 4-5 DAYS.

I've never had a problem and our fellow hobbyists over 'there' don't seem to have a problem paying the current air-mail rate!

I once sent a card to Australia "surface".....took 8 MONTHS.
