So, I took last week off to go see a friend of mine down at St. Mary's University (yup, forgot there was a CIS game down there and if I woulda known hours earlier I woulda went!), which meant no Flea Market in Truro on the weekend! So I said, hey... let's do some trading! Well, the trading ended up being more buying than anything, but some deals were made and here's the results:
Should also mention too before we start that my scanner needs to be cleaned and I realized said fact AFTER I scanned all these cards.. so most imperfections are from my scanner!
First off is a deal made with spooner9ball that should have been finalized a few weeks ago but life kinda got in the way and it was delayed - but nevertheless:
2007-08 SPGU Legends Classic Jersey/Auto - Doug Gilmour
2005-06 SP Authentic Future Watch Auto/RC - Alexander Steen
These came from Shaun in return for two of the pieces formerly in my Alexander Perezhogin collection! The collection is slowly dwindling but if anyone wants some AP pieces, I still got some nice ones left!
Now, with my two Series 1 boxes being delayed getting to the east coast from B.C., I decided to stop into my local "hobby" store (which doesn't have much for cards... a couple of packs and way over book price singles) to grab a few packs on Wednesday, only to find out that the owner told me (and he told me he was 100% right) that UDS1 didn't come out until Friday! Since I didn't want to drive to Halifax, I bought one pack of (overpriced) Artifacts and two packs of O-Pee-Chee... here's the damage:

The Kings redemption is a relief as it should be Doughty that comes out of it... so other than the price tag ($20), I can't complain on the packs!

Besides buying the girl I went to see at SMU her birthday present (her birthday is next week), I splurged when I saw Paul post a sale thread. Paul and I (pwag31) have dealt before in a high end deal over at another site which landed me a Kane FW RC, so I knew to expect nothing but the best from him. This is what I picked up:

I couldn't resist passing up these three, a jersey of a legend, an auto of the "Pride of Murray Harbour, P.E.I." and a stick of CuJo!

Crazy thing about these two is that the series numbers are both 24! Al MacInnis is usually good bait at local shows, so I couldn't pass by two "lower end/lower numbered" jersey pieces of the man from Port Hood!

And finally, one last trade with Jvos. Jack is another great trader and I was more than happy to land this piece of 'bait, because it seems like when Sens fans come a callin'.. I have nothing for them!
