Hopefully the draft is chaotic and he falls to 3... 4.... maybe 5.

No way! Can you see that actually happening? haha

Corey Pronman has him mocked at 4 OA. You never know- this draft is going to be all over the place. Very surprised with how things have morphed since Wright got approved for OHL exceptional status.

I just can't see him going past 2 but we shall see! Should be a fun night!

I have actually collected since early 90's, but really have never had magnetic one-touch protectors that I'd install myself. That is, I do have a few of them, but they came in deals so the protectors (hopefully) are correctly measured for the cards.

But recently I bought an array of magnetics from a card expo. And I have a box full of cards that I don't have a slightest clue what's what thickness.

I found some baseball themed guide of these, but I have a grand total of one baseball card, so I don't have a slightest clue of what the sets there are.

So now when I'm scrolling thru of my box, what's my best source to have some kind of lookup table where I insert the card name and I get as an answer the correct size.

Someone told me that I shouldn't use them for wrong sizes. I know how to guess something close to the truth.

As concrete example, I have these:

and I do know the official name of (almost) all of them. I know how to find them from Beckett. But what's the best source for the thickness of the given card?

Oh wow. Nice!

Jersey has no need for him, so if Montreal doesn't take him he could easily end up going 3rd or 4th. I didn't even bother doing a mock draft this time out

Every time the Habs get a high pick its in a terrible draft. That said, if we decide to pass on Wright, I hope we draft Cooley over Slafkovsky

Dang..... # 4.

Didn't see that coming. Kudos to those that did.

Montreal addressed the second centre by acquiring Dach - New Jersey wanted the defenceman since they already have Hughes and Hischier down the middle. And no way the Coyotes were going to pass up Cooley. Seattle might ultimately be the best fit for him, especially when you have one of the best two way centres to ever play as your GM, and him and Berniers set them as their top two down the middle.

Is Wright the best player from this draft to be playing on the upcoming opening night and staying the season with the team?

really don't see why people are so surprised by this outcome??

Slafkovsky - big big body with tons of skill, reminds me of Jaromir Jagr. Drafted #5 in a pretty good top 5 draft. He fits the NEW NHL Size Skating Ability and Scoring.

Please look at the Tampa Bay roster!!!

Personally like the pick.
