Some Superlative cards I'm looking forward to see

Scanned these pics from the sell sheet we received. I really believe this might be the product of the year... Here are some sweet cards I'm hoping to pull myself

Looks nice. Especially the Starting Lineup. The Nameplate on the other hand, looks pretty friggin awful..

Not sure I dig the quad patch with no pic. I'd rather see a dual sided with photos if they want the bigger patch on those.

The ohters look nice, but at a 1:30 shot for the cut autos, I'm not holding my breath when I bust a pack or two at the expo.

Funny eh? I actually really like that Quad patch. It's different for sure...

I don't like the quad patch without player photos... But the rest looks quite impressive!

I don't know what it is about the Quad Patch either .. but I really like it. In fact all of those look good, except for the Nameplate !

No way does that nameplate deserve to be in a reported $450-$500 a pack product. For that matter those cut auto's are fugly too....the Starting lineup is a beauty, as is both quad patches, although I agree with Chris that it really should have player pics to make it standout.

Judging by most of those pics though, this product is only geared towards those collectors who can read.....

The border is tight to a fault on the Yzerman nameplate. The Sakic one on the website, pictured

here if they allow hotlinking, doesn't have the same problem. There's also a really slick Kovalchuk letter that definitely doesn't suffer the same way.

I believe in the case of the Yzerman letter there would've been a bunch of dead space between the letter and the border of the card so instead of white space they went with a (grossly) thicker border, unfortunate but I guess I'd take the fat border over empty space.

Oh and I like the quad patch but Bure? were they cleaning out the closet and found they had one of his jerseys left over.

No offense to Bure collectors but it doesn't seem to suit the rest of the players on the card.
