Team 1040 in Vancouver saying Pavel Bure may be back in Vancouver

The morning show on team 1040 says Bure might be back in Vancouver for a pro rated contract of $5.5 mill

If this is true this is HUGE for the Canucks!!!

Any one else can confirm this??? or another source

I don't know how long you listened Neil, but coming near the end of the program, Barry McDonald was commenting on how he got Pavel's number from Gino, and they worked out the prank a day in advance...very cool.

I wish I would've heard the whole thing, but only caught the last 15 minutes of the show on the way to work this morning.

yeah i caught that part....very cool for Bure to be in on it.....didnt really think he would be down for something like this.....nice to see he actually remembers he played on this team

maybe we may see a jersey in the rafters soon (not retire the jersey but more of a recognition type thing)
