Upper Deck Redemption Fail - Crosby Auto

Just over a year of waiting I just signed for this 2015-16 Ultimate Collection Crosby auto jersey #25 and there's two creases in the jersey window.

Yea I'd be upset too, just the fact they sent it like that without saying anything. Hopefully it works out for you.

My understanding is that if all of them have similar issues, they may still be sent out rather than waiting for the next signing with Sid - and who knows how often he's signs for them now - is it a la Tom Brady where it's once a year and that's it?

Who knows where the damage originated? Was it while it was handled by Crosby's representatives?

Personally I would definitely be asking for a replacement and then work potential options from there...

How can you damage a card that way?? I think these are issues from production..otherwise damage has to go through the whole card...

Darn, that sucks. But hey, if you can live with it, then I would say hold onto it or trade it for something you need. It's a beautiful hard-signed card!

Or you can roll the dice with a replacement.

Where the creases are located it would seem like a production issue. It would be hard to cause two small creases on just the window and not extend into the card to the edges. If it's common on these then I would definitely think it was done before leaving the plant while joining the front and back around the jersey piece.

sorry to see that, still a really nice looking card and at least you got it. i'm still waiting on my Crosby 14-15 Cup and Premier auto patches to be signed and sent out....

Only took about two weeks for Upper Deck to replace the card and they sent a nice McDavid jersey card for my troubles. I'm happy.

Wait, are Upper Deck becoming....competent? Obviously it sucks to get it damaged, but good on them for sorting that.
