Upper Deck Redemption Fail - Crosby Auto

Brutal. I have been waiting for this card to become live so I could buy one for my set. If you decide not to deal with getting it replaced maybe we can work something out.

My understanding is that if all of them have similar issues, they may still be sent out rather than waiting for the next signing with Sid - and who knows how often he's signs for them now - is it a la Tom Brady where it's once a year and that's it?

Who knows where the damage originated? Was it while it was handled by Crosby's representatives?

Personally I would definitely be asking for a replacement and then work potential options from there...
 
How can you damage a card that way?? I think these are issues from production..otherwise damage has to go through the whole card...
 
Darn, that sucks. But hey, if you can live with it, then I would say hold onto it or trade it for something you need. It's a beautiful hard-signed card!

Or you can roll the dice with a replacement.

I'm sending it back to Upper Deck tomorrow and I'll let you know if they replace it.
 
Where the creases are located it would seem like a production issue. It would be hard to cause two small creases on just the window and not extend into the card to the edges. If it's common on these then I would definitely think it was done before leaving the plant while joining the front and back around the jersey piece.
 
sorry to see that, still a really nice looking card and at least you got it. i'm still waiting on my Crosby 14-15 Cup and Premier auto patches to be signed and sent out....
 
I've found UD customer service to be really good, from my experience. I am glad things worked out for you. Congrats!
 
Wait, are Upper Deck becoming....competent? Obviously it sucks to get it damaged, but good on them for sorting that.

Congrats on the quick solution.
