Here is my advice to Leaf. If you think that collusion is hindering your growth and not the quality of your products I suggest that you forget about the GTS's and Universal's of the world and get in bed with smaller distributors on both sides of the border. These smaller distributors are looking for these kinds of commitments. A product line that Universal and GTS cant carry!?? There should be people wanting to knock down your door. Pick the distributors that have the right marketing team and sales force so that your product line can be pushed consistently.
If your product is good it will grow all business involved, make collectors happy and will give you further fuel against UD and the industry leaders as to your claim.

It can turn back at them if Universal and GTS ask to their retailers to be exclusive to them and not sell cards from other distributors.

"vulturine activity" really UD?? what do they consider their closed door shenanigans to gain exclusivity where when ITG tried to renew its license with the NHLPA back in '05. WOW! UD comes off seriously petty and butt sore because they couldn't get the last few years top rookies under contract.hey Upper Deck you guys started the exclusivity crap in '05,you've reaped massive benefits over the years and yet you still cry foul when someone beats you at your own game.time to take your ball and go home. :dislike:

In mid April, the California court moved the UD v Leaf case to Texas. Both cases are now consolidated and will be dealt with together.
Here is the upcoming schedule:

Don't forget, he'll be wearing 20 layers of UD undershirts and 10 pairs of boxers beneath his 5 layers of uniforms, which will then be used for "Court Worn" cards!!
Of course, Leaf will probably be selling "ROOKIE" cards (directly on-line, in 40 different chromium colors) of the judge with swatches from his golf towels........Hey, equal representation...
