The suggested hotel is not close enough to walk to the event, as it's downtown. I don't believe there are any hotels within walking distance (that you'd want to stay at, at least!). I've just booked the suggested hotel, the Empire Landmark. Dale's site shows a show rate of $109, but if you're a single, the rate is cheaper for a standard hotel room through Expedia or Travelocity.
