Kind of considering moving one or more of my personal collections and could use some advise as to what to do next.

Should I break them up and sell them separately or should I keep them together and sell as a collection? A lot more work selling them individually.

Should I consider contacting the player or should I list the collection on ebay and hope he see's it.

I really could use some solid advise.

Thanks again,

Some really nice cards in these collections. Incredible pieces in all of those PC's. Nice work.

First off, What I would do first if you want to see who's interested, if you don't want to list every single card, is put up only the rarest cards first for a BIN/BO and see who bites. Who knows, a lot of collectors might have been waiting for a lot of those older cards to appear for years.

Listing everything separately is usually the way to go to maximize value, unless you know a player collector who will take it all from you, which is not as likely.

And If you really want them all gone quickly and feel like being a risk taker, gear up on shipping supplies, and let them all go to auction for a week. You just never know where the chips will fall. Some of those cards could surprise you.

And I have someone in mind for that Montoya Cup RPA. PM has been sent to you. :)

I've bought out remains of other collectors PC's of my main guy before. It's started with them listing rare cards that I needed. Once I saw a bunch listed it grabbed my attention and I reached out.
Found some stuff they where willing to move at the time that I needed and we worked out some deals.

On a side note, when Henrique was recently traded a couple of collectors reached out with some rare pieces they held onto that I again picked up.

Definitely do not sell as a bulk. Buyers expect cheaper prices per card, which I understand. But also try and stay realistic on your sale prices, however you decide to move them. Recognize you will have an emotional attachment to some of them, but always remember buyers don't care about that part. They want to know the least they can pay.

Spend the time to sell individually. It will be a hassle, and it will take longer, but at the end of the day you will end up with more in your pocket.

I agree with not selling in bulk, but I wanted to add another point. If I see a bulk listing of cards for my PC player, I often ignore it unless maybe it contains 1 or 2 rare cards that I haven't seen or rarely come across. Otherwise I feel like I'm paying more to get additional cards that I already have.

It's more work on your end to sell individually, but a higher payoff. The reason to sell in bulk would be if you simply want to get rid of everything at once. Maybe take the individual cards that don't sell after a few tries and sell those in bulk.

If you don't want to sell them as a bulk lot, and you don't want to spend the time listing them individually, you can send them to a consignment seller (LIKE ME!) and they will do all the work of selling them individually for you for a small fee. Basically I'd list your cards, deal with all the BS that ebay brings, sell the cards and ship them out for you. You pay me 20%. I pay the ebay and paypal fees that you would have to pay anyways and I make a small amount for my time and efforts. If you are interested in something like this send me a PM and we can discuss further.

you can also take some of the non movers that would collect dust and try them on a site such as comc where people people can buy and ship bulk lots without the added ebay shipping.
