Whats this worth??

I am interested in trading my 05-06 Ultra Ice RC of Brule #17/25 (His jersey # incase you care) but have no clue as to what kind of a value to place on it. The card i am considering trading for is a 04-05 ud all world dual auto redemption of hossa/hossa/25. I have never seen one of these before and beckett does not even list it because not many have surfaced. Think its a good deal?? Any input into the estimated value of my Brule platinum would be greatly appreciated, Clay

Is the redemption in hand, or will you have to redeem it? If you have to redeem it I'd say stay away. Getting redemptions from UD is too iffy. You never know if/when you'll get the card.

Personally, I would do the trade. The Brule is just a parallel, and from what I've seen, both Hossa brothers sign relatively quickly. Add in to the equation that All World was very lightly broken, and you've got yourself a heck of a trade.

In any other sport, you'd be crazy to trade the Brule, because in every other sport, collectors are logical enough to recognize a parallel as more desirable than the base. In hockey, if the auto is in-hand as opposed to a redemption, I would consider it.

Especially if one hasn't hit eBay yet and you're thinking of selling it. Brule has cooled a lot.
