Is anyone familiar with eBay seller throwbackswax? I recently got a full Jagr plate set from them. I didn't think much of it at the time, but happened to look them up today.

They have a ton of Leaf, which is by itself not a big deal. Then I looked at the plates they currently have.

Sure, not all are hockey, but spread across a handful of Leaf products they have a ton of full plate sets.

And they are all recent sets, so it's not like this was a collection bought from another collector. Can these be back-doored from Leaf?

Fwiw, I am quite active in the sketchcard community for non-sports. I'm 99% certain this is the an alt account for another seller who is... not well-regarded.

I'm not familiar with this specific eBay seller but I've noticed a couple of different sellers with full sets of Leaf plates lately (and more recently, Leaf "Pre-Production Proofs"). I assumed that Leaf distributed these to select retailers since there was no mention of them being packaged in any releases.

UPDATE: I actually had no idea that Leaf sells boxes of Pre-Production Proofs for some of their products (metal), but they do.
