Just how bad is the mail right now?

Most of my mail, including stuff coming from Canada, has been arriving as normal. In April I did have one card that took 10 days just to move out of Saskatchewan. I currently have a card that hasn't moved out it's origin of St Constant QC for 20 days.
 
I have a card that was coming from Ontario to Alberta and was shipped April 22. Still hasn’t arrived, should I be asking for a refund now?
 
I have a card shipped on May 11th from Canada to the US. The tracking doesn't yet have it In Transit. I'm not familiar with Canada tracking, but does this mean it has yet to leave the post office? The country?

I sent a package May 15th and the tracking has no update since it was picked up from my office. Not sure what's going on. I opened a lost package claim. No response yet.

This has been the same for everything I've purchased from Quebec that was shipped with tracking. In terms of positive news, so far I don't think anything has been lost. As far as negative news, I've been waiting on something pretty big from Quebec since May 3rd.

Also on Monday I received a tracked package shipped from an HI member in Winnipeg that had gone without any updates for several weeks. I think everything is just really behind.

Cool, that's what I figured. I'm prepared to be very patient. My card isn't worth a ton, but it is a tough one to find and I'd hate for it to disappear.

In regards to the tracking, I wouldn't worry about it. A lot has been slipping lately due to COVID-19, but it's moving.... slowly.

I have a current situation where the seller assured me that the card was dropped off at the Post Office, however the tracking number just says 'tracking number created'. It is what it is.
 
The tracking means nothing sometimes. I've had a few purchases that showed nothing. Looked like it hadn't left the post office. Day or two later it was here. Some mail is very slow now. Some packages from Canada are taking an extra 2-3 weeks to get here to NY.
 
I’ve been waiting on a package from Hamilton for over a month now and nothing. It wasn’t shipped with tracking.

Shipped a package xpresspost to Sarnia on Friday and it arrived there today.

So I would suggest if you need your mail pay the extra. At least in my case it paid off.
 
Items that require tracking numbers are usually taking an extra few days if they are passing through Mississauga and going to points in Southern Ontario. Had a package come in from Montreal that spent an extra week in Mississauga before it made its way to me. My package going the other way left Mississauga after a couple days and sat for an extra day in Montreal before it went out.
 
I am told any mail from outside of Canada is being held up for 14 days due to Covid-19. Do not know if internal mail is affected by this also.
