After seeing this thread yesterday I sent an email to one of my contacts at UD:

Upper Deck Tim Horton's cards.....do tell......

Here was his repsonse:

Don't know if I can. Ball is in Tim Horton's court.

I am quite curious to know the source of the leak for the image of the wrapper.

My guess is that Tim's contracted UD to make the cards but everything else is under Tim's control. They are most likely waiting to announce it along with what will most probably be a serious national marketing campaign.

Probably because this isn't an Upper Deck launch. Tim's bought the production run, told UD to keep their mouths shut, and they (Tim's) will handle the marketing/rollout. UD will certainly benefit but I suspect Tim's doesn't care as much about that as they do selling their own products.
