2015-16 Upper Deck Tim Horton's Hockey Cards

Finally got 10 packs today. Bought a pepsi so got one for 0.99 and the rest at 1.99. Nice looking cards. Those Above The Ice or whatever they are called are awesome looking cards. Didn't hit anything crazy and no Roy cards in my packs.

I was just on the TH website for entering PINs and saw that they have produced over 8.2 million packs of cards. I think I am going to stay away from this set until the hype wears down, which I think it will fairly quickly.

Was at a local tims today at lunch and while I was waiting in line some young guy buys two packs and he was lucky enouht to pull one of the 87 Crosby autos. I was half tempted to ask if if he wanted to sale it but he was over the moon with excitement.

You got the 25 packs at half price. I think I would put up with a little extra inconvenience.

Correction. I will admit that I was hungry. Looked at my bill. I was charged the correct price. I won't post until I have eaten in the future . No issue anymore. Lol

Mitch Hedberg will be very upset that you got a receipt for your doughnut.

"File it under D.....for Doughnut".

For instance, I ordered my coffee, bagel, and Pack. Should have been 4.25. She said 5.31. I went to the window and she said 4.25. I said yes, but at the speaker she said 5.31. She said "yeah, it seems like we have to scan it different or something".

I've noticed the same thing. They'll usually give the price they see on their monitor, but once they hit the button for payment, that's when the coupon SKU activates dropping the price. I feel bad for these employees because they're just as clueless as we are when it comes to this, and it may take a while for the transition to be completed.

I think you have an extra 1 there. I calculated 8,239,161

A few other numbers off the top of my calculator (if my calculation was right)....

Approx 76 available of each autograph
Approx 61 available of each jersey
Approx 25 of each autographed jersey card

Odds of pulling one of the big 4 hits (including Crosby auto) is 1 in 3379 packs.

Keep in mind that I got something like 60% in Math 12 so take all these numbers with a grain of salt.

Give this man a prize. His math seems to be absolutely correct, and according to the odds listings on the card packs, the auto jerseys are indeed numbered to 25.

Retail employees deal with enough crap in their everyday work life. Give them crap or roll your eyes at how they deal with a poorly executed promotion and you deserve to wait every second.

Picked up a couple of packs today. Lundqvist die-cut and one of those 3D cards of Johnny Gaudreau. Not bad for a buck extra with my coffee, and far more accessible than the McDonalds cards. I'm at Tim's a lot more than I'm eating McDonalds.

Thumbs up to this promotion.

Well I hope the person who bought the Sid card for $750 US lives in Canada. From the Rules and Regulations portion of the Tim Horton's website:

Eligibility:
2. The Contest is only open to legal residents of Canada who: (i) have
reached the legal age of majority in their province/territory of residence; or (ii) are thirteen (13) years of age or older, but under the age of majority in their province/territory of residence (each, a “Minor”), and who
have permission from their parent/legal guardian (a “Parent”) to participate in this Contest and be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”).

And all you kids going to Timmies to get your packs please make sure you're at least 13 years of age or have your parents permission to do so.

Dave.

Isn't this just for the contest? It has nothing to do with redemption cards

The Redemption card is a prize for purposes of the promotion. So it would have to be a Canadian that would have won it (and likely is) if it was being redeemed - to meet the requirements

Then there is no sense in eBaying it before redeeming it if you ask me

Is there an official checklist for everything including the jerseys? I'm really digging this product as it turns out.

I tried out 10 packs with my routine Friday night coffee and found myself back at the drivethru for another 10 packs. The lady in the drive thru looked at me like I was a crackhead LOL.
