WTF, I was told at Expo that my Certified Yzerman /25 was in! So where is it? 4 months expected time? I have 6 redemptions up now (others may have many more) and nothing. :foottap:

So what is the compensation? We all complained about UD and now how many redemptions do they offer? Now I really don't want to hear how hard it is to get players to sign, if it is that hard then you need some type of compensation. :|

Well UD is much better now with redemptions and ITG never offers them so the Prize goes to PANINI :goal:

i havent gotten squat back from panini yet in their initial hockey run, what gives. also, is it true that pk subban is a pain to get autographed? if so, im s.o.l!
 
I've pulled a redemption out of almost every box of Panini hockey I've opened. I bought 2 boxes of Panini basketball just for a change, and got a redemption from each of those too!!
 
I am waiting a couple as well and it seems like none have been sent out. Lindros returned a ton of stickers before the Fall Expo. It seems logical to me that all his cards should be made since his autos were live in Limited.
 
I have 8 redemptions pending. 6 of them are Paajarvi. Also 2 Stamkos, but I say it again: At the same time there were other Stammers Autos live in there products and also as giveaways at the expo!
 
I was told the same on my Yzerman auto and I have yet to see anything. I have quite a few outstanding autos and I'm starting to get worried. If Panini comes through with most (or miraculously ALL) their redemptions then it will put everyone at ease. However if they start offering replacements in the 1st year, I can honestly say I'll stay away from their products alltogether
 
My the worm has turned and the natives are starting to get restless.


Face it - a lot of fault lies with the players, many of whom are too lazy to sign the items that they get paid to sign ( are we gonna start with Panini not paying them either?). If I ever hear one player tell me how busy he is with his profession - I may beat him to death myself. I work 10/12 hours a day and still have time to cook for my family, do some hobby time and spend time with the family.

However - if Panini really wants to make a dent into the UD stronghold - they need to get this either resolved or move quickly to appease collectors. They have done a real nice job with some of their releases - but we all know that collectors are going to have a very short fuse when it comes to redemption autos.

Please do not bring ITG into this for the most part they are dealing with either minor league-rs or retirees and that is a different scenario. They are also dealing with a few autos vs Panini & UD that are dealing across their various brands.

I usually hate redemptions but I went for a 10-11 Limited Staal brothers Trio Auto redemption. Just redeemed it 2 days ago. If this fails I give up on redemptions.

Sucks too, Jordan's 10-11 SPGU Team Marks are redemptions...ugh!
 
got 12 outstanding with them...seen on their blogs that the cards are in house but just not yet mailed...I havent waited that long though
 
I only have 2 outstanding so far (both Score, looking for more ;) ). Honestly, I don't mind some waiting, as long as they get done, and done well, at some point here.

I know from following their blog they've got a lot of the autos collected now from the likes of Hall and Subban, and it's just a matter of time until stuff starts getting out the door. They've repeatedly noted that they hate redemptions as much as we do, and are doing what they can while also focusing on getting all the new releases ready to roll with as much live content as possible.
 
I always thought sticker autos were used due to quick turnaround, at least that's what we were lead to believe when they first started using these. If you are waiting this long why not have them sign the actual card? Makes no sense to me.
 
Guys, the thing I like the most about these threads are:

1. everyone gets a chance to take note of what is going on.
2. Panini staff are on the board and never comment to make things better.

I will admit they have some nice cards but this redemption thing really puts a crimp in things. Expo is the best for cracking wax and in the Fall I'm always after the Priority Signings. Spring is ITG with BTP. Panini is doing what UD used to. Funny, with former UD employees you would figure that they would know to get on something like this ASAP.

For me personally, the only thing that is going to change my mind about Panini is that the redemptions aren't stickers and come back hard signed! THAT and THAT alone may be worth waiting for.

If they are able to compensate this mirror effect of the old UD I will gladly eat that slice of humble pie that I will have been served. Till then this is what is being served up...........

Are you serious DLP...err...Panini...THE KING OF THE STICKER AUTO getting hard signed autos....? Somebody needs to lay the pipe down and I ain't talkin about the Plumbers Union.....:beer:

There's no way Panini will be sending out hard signed autos for all the redemptions currently pending. The ones that are meant to be stickers will be stickers and the same goes for the hard signed ones. I have no problem with that. I just want the cards I redeemed
 
I was also told when Limited hit that Derek Roy autos would be out "shortly" since he had autos live in the product. No change on the status of my redemptions, either.
 
I have some redemptions in everything of Panini.
Some Certified(2-3 cards) Limited(10-12 cards) and a few in Donruss(2-3).
They all been redeemed around January 1st.
None of the Status have changed.
Whats up, why everyone is tripping ? Panini wont do a better job than UD on the redemption programs.
Putting redemption on products is bad, its selling something you dont even have in hands, its should be illegal.

LOL, ya I know they won't to big of a challenge for them. Kinda makes me think that the right people stayed at UD and the others took a job somewhere else. :owned:
