Just how bad is the mail right now?

Had a trade completed with a member here back in June and the package new left the state of Florida according to USPS tracking. With the current situation both parties gave it plenty of time to arrive and when USPS was contacted they claimed it wasn’t a legit tracking number. We have since squared up the deal so both parties are satisfied but positive the package is “lost” for good.
 
Just received an ebay package today from the US that was sent with tracking. Purchased off ebay with tracking (non hobby related purchase) but today when I checked the mailbox all I got was an open bubble mailer with nothing inside, not even a customs note.

Seller has just messaged me saying that they will be sending another item to me and has already provided the tracking number. Hopefully this one makes it this time, also I am glad this wasn't for a hobby related purchase.
 
Bought 'card A' from this seller like 6 weeks ago and it showed up in 3 days.

Bought 'card B' from the same seller 3 weeks ago and still hasn't shown up.

Canada Post sucks. I need to change over all my ebay listing to have minimum tracked shipping ASAP.

TES, there is hope in the postal service!
 
Made a little trade and my end is coming from the usa and apparently made it to toronto on the 29th but hasn't moved since then. That is according to USPS tracking, but according to the Canada Post App it is still on it's way to Canada. My guess is that it's stuck in customs. His end should arrive by Nov 9th which isn't so bad.
 
no one else experiencing delays with packages from the usa??? my package hasn't been updated in a week =/. my buddy got his package last monday, one week early. so the weirdness with canada post continues...

I had one that was sent to me in July... and still has not shown up. At this point, I assume it is not just delayed - it's gone.

Tracking (via USPS) showed that it was in Toronto on August 8th. There was never any movement after that.
 
Received five packages today, three from the States, one from England and one from Sweden. All well within reasonable shipping times. No problems here.

Did the tracking say something to the effect that your package departed from pearson? apparently that means it's on its way and not actually in the country yet.
 
Over a week of no updates for my package and this is starting to get annoying. How is it that mail into the usa gets delivered in a timely manner and anything within and going outside of the usa is at a snail's pace?
 
I just received a registered envelope from Australia here in the US that was mailed on 18 September, so almost 2-months. Still waiting on some things from Mexico, too, that were mailed just after the one from Australia. You'd think it would have been here as it is on the same continent!
 
Now this doesn't make any sense at all. I finally got an update to my package but now it says it's a sorting center in.. FINLAND? Unless Fihela is somewhere in Canada that I do not know about. The Canada Post website says I should get my package in a week, but this entire process has been bizarre to say the least. Anyone else deal with a package that went to another country enroute to your location?? I am thinking someone made a typo somewhere along the line..
 
Sold a card on October 9 th. Shipped on October 11th to NJ U.S.A. Told the buyer the 12 was holiday and expect some delay`s on a CAN/U.S transaction. the 19th i started to receive `Any update , didnt receive card yet` message. On week 4+ buyer requested a tracking number. Finally made it there on November 12th.
 
I am officially pissed. My belief is that my package was in Toronto after a week and then for some unknown reason went to Finland. This is the tracking info.

It was in Toronto after a week and then took the never been seen route to helsinki which for some reason shows up as in Canada? I called Canada Post today and they were clueless as expected. Sorry, but I am pissed off b/c none of this makes sense to me!
 
My package went to Finland for some unknown reason and I have officially given up on this package which is sad b/c I was supposed to get my first Vlad Jr. auto. If anyone else deals with the same sort of things as I did do not expect anything from USPS b/c I have read 100s of similar cases and they do absolutely NOTHING.
