Probably because this isn't an Upper Deck launch. Tim's bought the production run, told UD to keep their mouths shut, and they (Tim's) will handle the marketing/rollout. UD will certainly benefit but I suspect Tim's doesn't care as much about that as they do selling their own products.
Hopefully UD owns the creative on it and not Tim Hortons - I'd love to see similar subsets that we saw with McDonalds and not just a 10-20 card set with a Crosby auto seeded 1 in 100000000000000000 packs.
